BandTogether Presents Its 15th Anniversary Concert – 03/24/2012 at 8pm

BandTogether will continue its season of greatest hits on March 24 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The band is thrilled to present its 15th Anniversary Concert at 8 PM in the Cathedral’s Auditorium. As always the concert is offered FREE of charge and is open to the public. (Please note that parking options may require a fee.) Tax-deductible donations and applause are greatly appreciated!

Founded in 1997, BandTogether was a group of just 10 members. Today, the band and color guard has grown to well over 100 members. The band offers four free concerts a year and can also be seen at area pride celebrations and other special events. The color guard performs with the band in the pride parade and also at two concerts each season. The organization is an all-volunteer community band and provides an opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, straight and transgendered musicians to perform and have fun in a relaxed, friendly environment. The group does not hold auditions and welcomes anyone over the age of 18 to bring his or her talent to the band or color guard.
