Join us as for our 9th installment of the Virtual Education Series as we dig into the 15°, Knight of the East, Of the Sword, or of the Eagle.
Our next Virtual Education Series presentation is next Thursday May 21st at 7pm CDT(Central)
Our topic for the evening will be the 15th Degree, Knight of the East, of the Sword, or of the Eagle; & brings us to the first of the Second Temple and New Law Degrees.
We now begin the work of the Chapter Rose Croix, consisting of the 15th-18th Degrees. In the 15th Degree we’ll join Zerubabbel as he seeks to intercede and with King Cyrus of Persia, hoping to allow the temple to again be rebuilt and restore several other things to the his peoples holding. In the course of the ritual we learn the great law of ebb and flow in nature, that we must be faithful, to honor truth, and value the freedom of thought and conscience. In the course of our discussions we’ll consider the degrees evolution over time, the history behind its allegory, and the symbols that play such a key part in encouragin our footsteps onward as we seek to rebuild the temple, that now sits destroyed and later recover the True Word.
Please keep this event in mind and share it with any Scottish Rite Brother who would be interested. We do have a now limited capacity as many Brothers have already claimed a spot. As such we encourage Brothers to contact us prior to that tonight if they plan to attend so that we make sure virtual “seats” are available.
The meeting will be Thursday (May 21st) and begin promptly at 7pm (CDT). We will open the call about 30 minutes prior for Brothers to log on and check their technology, if needed.
